Voluntary Blood Donation camps held

IMPHAL, Jan 21: The Association of Voluntary Blood Donors’s Manipur in collaboration with Manipur State AIDS Control Society,State Blood Transfusion Council, Manipur Department of Immunohaematology & Blood Transfusion, RIMS and Blood Bank JN hospital has organized two days voluntary Blood donation camps in both RIMS and JN hospital todayin connection with the Statehood day of Manipur, under the theme ‘ Save Manipur with Safe Blood’

According to a release of the association, altogether 51 voluntary Blood Donors donated blood. The donors includes 18 numbers of physicallychallenged from Hope for the Blind, Takyel, and Society for disable, Kumbi, volunteers from Society for Sustainable Development , students from different Institutes/colleges ad members from association of Voluntary Blood Donors, Manipur.

In the meantime, the association is deeply grateful to all the donors, and prays for their Good Health, that they shall continue such noble act of donating blood in future, the release added.
