IMPHAL Feb 6: A veterinary camp was organized by the Red Shield Division at Moirang Khunou and for the adjoining areas to address the veterinary facilities today.
The camp was inaugurated by the Chief of Moirang Khunou and altogether 1159 animals were treated.
Lieutenant Colonel VK Mishra and Liutenent Colonel Surender Saini of Army Dog Unit and their team rendered medical assistance and advised people on rearing and breeding of domestic animals. Free veterinary medicines ,vaccines and tonics were distributed at the camp. The gesture of the Army was appreciated by the locals, a PIB (Defence Wing) press release stated.
