IMPPHAL, Feb 14: As celebrated every year, the Manipur Dramatic Union will observe `Artist Day` on February 18 at MDU hall.
According to a release,the Artist Day observation of the union will be attended by Prof. Lokendra Arambam, president Ariyan Theatre, Lorembam Pishak Devi, Natya Bushan and Ksh Ibohal Singh, president MDU will graced as chief guest, guest of honour and president of the observation.
To mark the observation, the award for theKomdram Dhanchandra memorialaward will bepresented to Bachaspatimayum Bhavanda alias Ibomcha Sharma andGurumayum Surjamukhi Devi and at the end of the observation there will be presentation of the drama Abhimanyu which was written by the late Mayanglambam Birmangol, the release added.
