IMPHAL Feb 27: Under the theme “Clean Moreh and Healthy Moreh”, troops of 31 Assam Rifles along with Manipuri Muslim Council organized a one day socail service camp at Moreh Ward number 5, Muslim Nagar today.
At the inaugural function of the cleanliness drive , 31 AR post commander Captain Gaurav Vats and President of MMCM,Md Hussain and others organization representatives of MCM, Tamil Sangam,Gorkha Samaj Samiti and village chairman of Chavang Phai village graced the function as the dignitaries.
Speaking as the Chief guest, CaptainGaurav Vats emphasized on the need to maintain proper hygene at the border town to prevent communicable diseases , he stated that as the dry season is coming,the garbage and flammable meterials should be disposed to prevent incidents of fire breaking out among the closely knit residential quarters.
