IMPHAL, Feb 8: The Senior Citizen for Society Manipur in a meeting held at its office at Nagamapal, chaired by the body’s president N. Binoy Singh expressed its deep sense of sorrow on the sad demise of Professro L. Damodar Singh who expired at his Yaiskul Hiruhanba Leikai on February 4.
The disappearance of the noted critics of Manipuri Literature and Art and culture and closely association with various literary and cultural organization, from our midst is a great loss not only to his bereaved family members but to the entire people, said a statement of the body.
It said that a two minute silence was observed to condole the demise and pray for the eternal rest of his departed soul.
