IMPHAL, Feb 10: Khangembam Mangi (or Pena Mangi) who was recently awarded with the Padmashree award was facilitated today by Utra Sanglen Sana Konung and Umang Lai Kanba Apunba Lup (UKAL), at Utra Sanglen Palace compound, Imphal.
The felicitation function was presided by Kh. Mangi, Padmashree Awardee, AK. Janki Leima, chief advisor UKAL and Leisemba Sanajaoba, titular King of Manipur.
As a mark of honour Nabachandra, president UKAL, presented gifts to Padmashree Mangi during the felicitation.
While addressing the gathering Leisemba Sanajaoba, maintained that Padmashree Mangi one of the most respectable person of the state.
Leisemba Sanajoaba appealed to the younger generation to take forward the legacy of the great Pena artist.
