JAC warns mobile service providers; submits memorandum to CM

IMPHAL, Feb 14: The JAC against the kidnapping of Moirangthem Boboy Singh supervisor BCL Company (Aircel) today submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister of Manipur demanding initiation of necessary actions to rescue him and also of providing secure living to the innocent people of the state.

The JAC further led a group of people including locals of Kumbi, family members of the victim towards the Chief Minister`s secretariat, however they were blocked by police at the Keishampat junction. Later on, few representatives of the mob were allowed to submit their memorandum at the Chief Minister`s secretariat.

In the memorandum the JAC put up charters of demand. They further stated that in case of failure of the BCL security private limited and Aircel company in bringing an amiable agreement with the KCP (MC) group and rescue the kidnapped person, the mobile companies in the state will be made to closed down with the help and support of the general public. Besides, it has also appeal the government to help rescue the victim in the interest of families.

The JAC further declared that as part of their continuing agitation the JAC will protest infront of different AIRCEL company offices demanding expediting of action to save the life of Moirangthem Boboy Singh supervisor BCL Company. And, it has also appeal to the KCP (MC) to release the victim safe and sound in the interest his family.

It may be recalled that Moirangthem Boboy Singh supervisor BCL Company was abducted by the KCP (MC) on February, 11, 2011, on his way to Imphal for a attending a meeting of the company for a ransom of rupees 5 crores.
