IMPHAL, Feb 25: The newly elected MLA of Konthoujam assembly constituency, K Sharat was given warm reception today by Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress in a function held at Kuki Inn, Imphal.
The reception function was attended by president of Manipur Pradesh Trinamool Congress Kim Gangte, president of BJP Manipur Sh Shantikumar and president MPP Dr Nimaichand Luwang.
Speaking at the function, Dr Nimaichand Luwang stated that the people should be proactive to check corrupt practices of government. The development and welfare of the state solely lies in collective responsibility of the people.
