MPP Observes death anniversary of Alhaj Md. Alimuddin

    IMPHAL, Feb 3: The Manipur Peoples’ Party (MPP) observed the 28th Death Anniversary of Alhaj Md. Alimuddin” former Chief Minister of Manipur (1972), at its party office, Imphal.
    The observation was attended by Th. Chaoba, former Union Minister and MP Loksabha, senior opposition MLA, O. Joy Singh, Y. Mangi president in-charge MPP, N. Sanajaoba general secretary, Mutum Maniton Mangang president Youth front, president MPP chanura Marup, party workers and sympathizers etc.
    While speaking during the observation, Th. Chaoba, ex-MP, highlighted the vital role of the late leader in forming the MPP. He claimed that the demise of the leader is a great lose for the society.
    The former MP maintained that the current government has failed to deliver the will of the peoples owing to lack of leadership and transparency. The suffering of the people of the state would be over only if they follow the foot step the great leader.
    The MPP is the first ruling party of the State formed in the year 1970, after leaders of various political parties mainly the Indian National Congress left their parties hoping to bring a change in the State and similar steps must be taken to bring a radical change to the current turmoil turned state of Manipur, added the former MP.
    The observation was marked with floral tribute to the portrait of Alhaj Md. Alimuddin, presentation of gifts to the patients at the RIMS Radiotherapy.
