National Integration Tour to B’lore and Mysore

IMPHAL, Feb 22: A National Integration Tour from Chassad to Bangalore and Mysore organised by 12 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) for school students from Kamjong Sub Division of Ukhrul Distric was flagged off from BN HQ12 Assam Rifles located at Chassad.
According to a release of PRO, IGAR (South) Imphal, he tour is comprising of 25 students from diverse backgrounds alongwith four teachers. The theme of this tour is to give the local schoolchildren an insight into the progress of the country especially in the fields of space exploration and information technology, provide a connect with different culture, traditions and customs in another part of the country as also promote an atmosphere of brotherhood and unity among people of different states. The students scheduled  to visit to National, Historical, Technological and Economical establishments viz; ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation), Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Vidhan Soudha (Karnataka State Legislative Assembly), Visveshwarayya Museum of Science and Technology, Banerghatta National Park, Whitefield ITPL Software Park, Infosys Technologies Campus, Wonder La Amusement Park, Vrindavan Gardens, Mysore Palace, Mysore Zoological Park and Srirangapatinam Palace (Tipu Sultan`™s Palace) and some military establishments the release added.
