One hurt in vendor brawl

    IMPHAL, Feb 10: A customer of a liquor vendor today morning was injured in a fight between him and the vendor owner which was preceded by an argument between the two.
    The incident happened today morning at around 9 am at Achanbigei Makha Leikai under Heignang PS.
    According to source Nongthonbam Sanahal, 47, s/o N Nilachandra of Khabam Maning Leikai after a quarrel with his family in the morning had come to the vendor run by one Moirangthem Jaram Singh, 53, of Achanbigei Makha Leikai.
    An enraged Nilachandra demanded drinks from the vendor owner, however an argument broke out between the two when the vendor owner refused to provide any liquor to him. Angered with the argument, Jaram Singh attacked him on the head using a knife, which resulted in head injury of Sanahal.
    The source further maintained that while Sanahal has been admitted to the CMC hospital Koirengei,  the accused as been picked up by concern authorities.
