Prof. C. Amuba Singh, former Vice Chancellor of Manipur University with the Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education for the year 2011

Prof. C. Amuba Singh, former Vice Chancellor of Manipur University, was presented with an “Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education” for the year 2011 at the Star News National B-School Awards held at Mumbai on 12th February 2011. The award consisting of a certificate of honour and memento was presented to Prof. Amuba at a glittering function held at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai which was attended by leading educationists and students from various B-schools and other institutes of learning of the country. Accepting the award, Prof. Amuba reminded the youth of the country of the confidence and faith reposed in them by the former President APJ Abdul Kalam when he said that the 21st century would be India’s century and that India is poised to make big strides in biotechnology, information technology and nano technology. The award was presented to Prof. Amuba in recognition of his leadership and excellence in the field of education.
