IMPHAL Feb 10: The third foundation day of Patriotic Writers’ Forum was held at Manipur Press Club , Majorkhul today. Altogether four books including an annual publication of the forum as released today.
The function was presided by Sagolsem Indrakumar, president of the Forum and chaired by Professor N Khogendro ,advisor of Manipur Sahitya Academy. Retired director Lingjam Joychandra was the guest of honour.
The books Echelna Kanglabadi Kongolsu Takkani by Angam Jatung Chiru ,Ningsinglubada Tripura gee Khonchat by Rakesh Naorem and Sekmaida pokpa Siba by Yaiskul Khwairakpam was released by the dignitaries of the function .
Founder General Secretary of the Forum O C Meira in his address emphasized the need for giving the liberty of expression to the writers, stating that the state has a rich literary background and if the artist are hindered in their work, there is no future for the writers and the state as well.
