IMPHAL March 31: 27 Assam Rifles provided two computers and two printers to the Government High School, Waikhong, Thoubal under Assam Rifles Military Civic Action (MCA) project. The computers and printers were handed over to the school in presence of enthusiastic students, teachers and other prominent personalities of Waikhong on 28 March.The provision of computers and printers facilitated the long standing dream of the students to have a IT lab in the school. The students and teachers of the school appreciated the kind gesture and extended their gratitude to Assam Rifles. Further,continuing with its philanthropic work and reaching out to locals, 28 AR constructed a waiting shed and toilet for players and villagers in Langthabal public play ground at Langthabal Mantrikhong. The inauguration ceremony was conducted after a friendly football match between the young players of the village. A PRO(IGAR) release states.
