IMPHAL, March 12: In an effort to reach out to the people of remote localities and facilitate them with items of various kinds so that all round development can take place, a civic action programme was organized under the aegis of 13 Bn BSF at Island village, Senapati District.
According to a release the function was graced by Sh. Angom Shamoo, DIG Sector Headquarter CI (OPS) Manipur. The programme encompassed distribution of rain harvesting kits , solar panel and sports items to 14 villages. Such efforts to help the poor inhabitants of remote localities will continue in future also.
