CM submits report of state projects to PM

IMPHAl, April 12: Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh has tabled the ultimate progress reports of the on going projects undertaken in the state under Prime Minister’s package and also submitted the Utilization Certificates for the phase wise achievements during the called on meeting by the Prime Minister Office (PMO) at New Delhi which started since April10.

According to a highly placed official source state Chief Minister has left Imphal for Delhi to attend the called on meeting of PMO to review the projects which have been taken up in the state under Prime Minister package including Thoubal Project, Capitol Projects at Chingmeirong and Seri Project at Sangaipat and JNIMS at Porompat Imphal East District which are still is undergoing construction at the moment.

The source also mentioned that Chief Minister during the PMO level meeting at New Delhi Since last two days reportedly tabled the UC of the different phases of the completed works for the identified projects undertaken in the state under PM Package and further sought for the release for the remaining funds for the respective projects so as the state government enable to complete all projects as early as possible. State government has already given full priorities to the said undertaking projects.

The source further mentioned that, Chief Minister during his stay in Delhi will take appointment with the Union Home Minister P Chidambaram to pressurize the pending assurance of the centre to maintain Highway Protection Forces and Loktak Protection Forces of the state to be implemented in the nearest future as per the need of the hours, the source added.
