KCP`s clarion call for unification

IMPHAL April 17: The Kangleipak Communist Party observed it’s 31st foundation day on April 14. KCP President Laba in the occasion greets the public and other insurgents groups waging the struggle for independence. In his speech, the president stated that the outfits needs to come under one umbrella organization so as to intensify the freedom movement. Due to the disunity, security forces are having their way. The struggle should gain momentum and wage an united struggle, the public needs to support the revolutionary cause and the revolutionaries need to address the woes of the public, waging a lone war cannot bring the goal of independence against the Indian army will not be fruitful,he said.Speaking as the chief guest at the function, Lt. Gune of the MYL (KYKL) added that the need to have an united struggle is the need of the hour though late. The leaders of the different outfits need to address the issue and strive to unite. The revolution should always uphold the wishes of the public, he said. Many officers of the KCP also spoke on the occasion and dined together with their KYKL counterparts.
