IMPHL, May 11:Naorem alias Ibemcha, 42 yrs r/o Senjam Chirang(Khurkhul) and Amuliu Kamei,58 yrs,r/o Tupul who were bitten by snake at night on 10 May 2011 was brought to unit hospital, 30 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR(South). The patients were immediately rendered necessary first aid and administered with anti snake venom by unit medical officer and paramedical staff. Immediate medical intervention saved the life of the victims, it added.
