IMPHAL, May 7: A couple was killed while five others sustained injury in a road mishap that occurred near Utlou Chanura bazaar this morning.According to reports the incident occurred around 8 am when a diesel auto packed with passengers collided with a passenger bearing Tata winger.Reports further said that the accident happened after the Tata winger lost its control after one of its rear trye burst.The deceased couple were identified as one Atom Dinachandra, 60, of Tiddim road Thounaojam Leikai and his wife Atom Sorojini, 60.Sorojini was killed instantly while her husband Dinachandra succumbed at the RIMS hospital. They were on board of the diesel auto.The registration numbers of the diesel auto is identified as MN1B-1485 while the Tata Winger is identified as MN05C-0254.
