Speaking to mediaperson during a press conference held today at the office of the Human Rights Initiative, Pushpa revealed that her life has become endangered since the past few days following her reluctance to withdraw the petition filed at the Gauhati High Court and failing to correct names of some person she had mentioned in the petition filed by her.
Pushpa said she had mentioned names of one Tekcham Mohindro Singh of Wangjing Tekcham Leikai and Tekcham Ajit Singh in the petition filed by her that they were involved in a conspiracy to kill her husband.
Pushpa further said the petition filed by her was admitted by the High Court and registered as WP(RCL) No 24 of 2011. The case was heard and issued notices to the respondents.
Pushpa further revealed that on May 5, 2011 about 30/40 people led by Tekcham Mohindro Singh came to her house and demanded her to go to the press to cause a publication to the effect that Mohindro is innocent regarding the death of her husband and correct the name of a person who was mentioned in the petition namely Tekcham Ajit Singh.
Pushpa said she could not correct or withdraw names of persons she named in the petition and hence she moved out from her house this morning so that Mohindro and his party could not reached her.
