`Joint struggle` call at Marx`s birthday anniv

IMPHAL, May 5: Remembering the revolutionary struggles of Karl Marx for restoring his principle of holding powers by the labour classes through united struggle, the Manipur state Committee of the All Indian Trade Union Congress has observed 193rd birth anniversary of the Karl Marx at AITUC complex, Imphal.

During the observation, secretary Manipur state unit CPI, L. Iboyaima Singh who attended as presidium member mentioned that, the present approach and movement that are taken by the working class group in the state are on the right path as have been made by the leader like Karl Marks.

He also explained the need of a join struggle against the existing anti worker policies that have been adopted by the state government.

In the meantime, CITUC, Manipur secretary Ksh Shanta who also attended as presidium member mentioned that, the objective for restoring powers for working class group can be achieved only after a united struggle as desired by Karl Marx.

Further many dignitaries including secretary, AITUC, Manipur L Sontinkumar Singh, president All Manipur Shops and Establishment Workers`™ Union, L Chandramani Singh, secretary All Manipur Muthiya Workers`™ Union Bijoykumar Gupta have given their deliberations on the welfare of workers which the state government has failed to provide.
