IMPHAL, May 13: The KCP Maoist has banned a candidate of ward number 25, Rajesh Kapoor, proprietor of Star Dry Cleaner, from running the ensuing Imphal Municipality Council election.
At the same time, the outfit has also banned the Dry Cleaner permanently with immediate effect, informed a statement issued by outfit.
It urged Rajesh to withdraw his decision and apologize to the public failing which it warned to the individual along with the family to leave the state. It further asked the migrant workers to sit together to resolved the issue and asserted that the sole responsibility will be borne by Rajesh and the entire migrants if any unwanted communal tensions arises.
Terming the issue as sensitive it urged the need for serious national consciousness from all the section and not just a mere meeting.
In the meantime, it further warned to take strong action against one Devendro of Sekmai Bazar Khwairakpam Yaima if he failed to contact the party at the earliest.
