IMPHAL, May 5: MPSC defeated SSA by 7-1 in a match of the 35th mens state league hockey tournament being held at Hockey Stadium, Khuman Lampak. P Adeva put four goals for the police team while S Tarunkumar, Th Birjit and S Rabi scored one goal each to total team’s score to seven. The only goal for the SSA was scored by H Mani in the 33rd minute. In a match of the 17th women’s state league hockey tournament, SLO Bishnupur defeated SSA Charangpat by a solitary goal in a match played today at Khuman Lampak hockey stadium. The all important goal for the Bishnupur team was scored by I Robita in the 4th minute.
