Nagaland CM to go ahead with plan

Kohima, May 27(NNN): Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his team of ministers and MLAs will go ahead with their planned visit to Senapati district headquarters on Saturday.

Informing to Newmai News Network, Abu Metha who is press secretary to Neiphiu Rio said, “We are going ahead with our plan. We are just going for a ceremony. The chief minister of Nagaland is a democratically elected representative and he can go anywhere in India. So we request the government of Manipur to extend co-operation to us.”

Abu Metha said this at around 8 pm when NNN contacted him and queried over the proposed Senapati event.
