IMPHAL June 18: A combined team of Imphal West district police commandos and 28 AR arrested one PREPAK activist from Canchipur MU gate yesterday at about 12.30 pm.
A press release of the Imphal West police has identified the arrested activist as Yumkhaibam Mohen alias Ebai, 42, s/o Y Chandramani of Andro Machengpat.
On verification, he disclosed on working under one Victor of PREPAK finance section and a mobile was recovered from his possession, stated the release.
On follow up action, other three PREPAK activists were arrested from their residences namely, Puyam Keke alias Khamba alias Bishrup,37, s/o Angou of Kongba Makha Chongabi, Ashem Sanajaoba alias Goroba,34, s/o late Birachandra of Kakwa Nameirakpam Leikai and Kongsam Ibohal ,52, s/o late Nitai of Kongba Uchekkon Lamabamayum Lampak on the same day.
One 9mm pistol with one magazine and two live rounds were seized from Kongsam Ibohal Singh, the release added.
