IMPHAL, June 7: Altogether seven suspects of the proscribed PLA have been arrested from Guwahati, Assam, in the wee hour today by a combined team of Assam Police and 128 CRPF battalion.Reports said that the PLA suspects were arrested from Rangoli apartment, situated at Christian Basti, under the Guwahati Police station at around 3 am. The individuals have been identified to be S. Kunjabihari, 52, Saphaba Mangang, 33, L. Modhu Singh, 54, L. Joychandra, 32, HP. Singh, 43, K. Deni Singh, 40, and Lairenlakpam Irabot, 52.Five mobile handsets including some cash were recovered from the arrested individuals, it said.However detailed information of the arrest could not be acquired and it was reported that further investigation was going on in full swing.
