MOREH, June 28: Top officials of the North Eastern Council and DONER along with other officials of different departments arrived at Moreh town today to scrutinize the various projects undertaken at the border town.
The visiting team comprised of UK Sangma, secretary NEC, chairman North Eastern Region Community Resource Management Project (NERCOMP), JP Sharma, joint secretary, ministry of DONOR, secretaries of tourism of government of Tripura and Nagaland, Y Ningthem, project director Manipur Development Society(MDS), O Nabakishor, principal secretary, commerce & industry, Manipur, H Deleep Singh, DC of Chandel, K Radhashyam Singh, SP of Chandel, Lunminthang Haokip, ADC Moreh, Y Ashokumar, addl SP of Moreh and M. Rameshor Singh, SDPO of Moreh.
The team visited the sites where developments programs funded by the NEC are taken up including the Integrated Check Post, Moreh Hospital, Land Customs and Indo Myanmar gate number 2.
