IMPHAL, June 26: The District Council Chandel today celebrated its first year anniversary at the Classic Hotel.
The celebration was attended by MP Thangso Baite, MPCC gen sec DK Korungthang as the chief guest and president respectively.
Speaking at the celebration Thangso Baite expressed that people of the hill districts had lost 20 precious years in demand for the 6th schedule, and further added his belief that with last years ADC election, the elected members will work to bring development in the hills and work towards safeguarding the integrity of the state.
The celebration was also attended by all ADC members of the 4th District Council Chandel.
