IMPHAL, June 1: YLYC defeated WYC by 2-0 in today’s first match of the NIVSO Cup, Khundrakpam level football tournament being held at Keibing high school ground. Thokchang scored the first goal for the YLYC in the 10th minute while Lalngpam added another goal in the 32nd minute for the winner. In the second match of the day, SBC and SCY ended in a tame draw.
