AMADA greest Muslims for Ramzaan

IMPHAL, July 31: For the holy occasion of Ramzaan, All Manipur Anti-Drug Association (AMADA) has expressed its warm greeting to all the Muslims community of Manipur. Today in its press statement, issued by its secy. Social welfare E Ibempishak, it also greeted that may this one-month long holy worship fulfilled with peace. The statement further prayed that may the almighty Allah grant the strength to remove the menace of drug from the state.

Further the statement also appealed all the religious leaders of all the areas to intervene any kind of drug use that can damage the sacred image of the Muslim religion. The statement also warned that serious action would be initiated against any individual who tried to breaks the sacred norm of Ramzaam by consuming intoxicants or performing any other illicit activities in the society.

Further the statement added that it has dissolved its Bishnupur District Councils, AMADA in an executive that was held on 19 of august previous year.
