AMSU holds discussion on education

    IMPHAL, July 24: All Manipur Students’ Union (AMSU) organized a general discussion on the ways to uplift the degrading education system in government schools at Praja High School, Lamsang on July 23.

    A release of the union stated that the discussion was a part of the campaign for transformation of education system which aims at achieving quality education in the state.

    The programme was attended by social activist RK Ranendrajit, AMSU president Thokchom Suresh, Praja High School Principal L Raghumani Roy and Mayanglangjing Zilla Parishad member Tongbram Manitombi as the chief guest, president and guests of honour respectively.

    The present education system of the state is at stake with rapid degradation of the government educational institutions.  The members of the society need to analyse the flaws in the present system and rectify them to achieve quality education in the state, the release added.
