IMPHAL, July 28: A medical camp was organised by 22 GRENADIERS of 26 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(South) at the border village of Molcham in the remote Khenjoi Block of Chandel Distt.
According to release of the PRO IGAR (S) since the area is sans any public health cover, such initiatives are highly appreciated by the locals and more than 250 people availed of the opportunity. The villagers expressed their immense gratitude to the Security Forces for the camp.
In yet another occasion, 23 Assam Rifles of 10 Sector under the aegis of HQ IGAR(S) organized a Medical Camp at Finch Corner on 26 Jul 2011. Senior Medical Officer of the Unit accompanied by a Lady Medical Officer and para medical staff of the Battalion conducted the medical camp to examine the patients of locality. During the camp about 150 patients were given medical assistance the release added.
