IMPHAL, July 30: Womenfolk of Thangmeiband Lourongpurel Leikai today staged a sit in protest against a bomb attack at the residence of Laishram Birendrajit, a government contractor yesterday evening. The sit in protest was held at the Thangmeiband Chingakham lampak this evening.
A protestor while decrying the violent act also maintained that it is high time that people realize that bomb attacks can never bring any understanding.
It may be reminded that two unidentified persons had come asking for Birendra, but when a family member told them that he was not at home, the two placed a hand grenade on top of a Santro car parked in the courtyard of the private residence.
