IMPHAL, July 16: Just a week after an IED laden scooter was found parked near EK Higher Secondary School at Sangakpam Bazar, another two-wheeler, abandoned under suspicious circumstance, was detected near the same school at around 3 pm today causing a state of panic in the area. Fortunately, a bomb squad of Imphal East police made a thorough search of the vehicle but did not found any explosives inside. The police then lifted the vehicle for verification. According to police source, the vehicle was later handed over to its owner after proper verification.
