IMPHAL, July 7: A joint meeting of all social organizations of Pallel area has resolved to urge the concerned transport department to extend the temporary contract carriage permit of Tata Wingers so as to facilitate better transport service at Pallel area.
A release of Youth Volunteers’ Association said that the people of Pallel are facing problems while traveling from Pallel to Imphal and vice-versa. The existing transport service of Tata Wingers has become defunct owing to non-extension of carriage permit by the concerned transport department.
The meeting further resolved to launch stern agitations if the concerned department fails to issue the permit by July 15.
