IMPHAL, July 21: Heavy rain coupled with silting of drains due to ongoing sewerage project has led to the inundation of Langol Grace Colony and some parts of Thangmeiband thereby affecting normal life of the people.
Speaking to media persons today, a resident of Grace Colony, Kalam Serto stated that the people of Langol area have been facing this menace for the last four years since the start of the sewerage project.
The concerned authority has totally neglected the problems of the flood affected people. Many people are facing bad sanitary and hygienic condition due to this inundation, he added.
