IMPHAL, July 13: A free naturopathy awareness programme for general public was held today at PHC Chanrangpat in Thoubal district organized by Nature Cure and Yoga hospital under the sponsorship of the NIN Pune on the occasion of silver jubilee celebration of NIN Pune under the theme “Nature at your service”.
The awareness programme was formally inaugurated by K Heramani Singh, Pradhan of Charnagpat Gram Panchayat as chief guest while Dr. K Basanta Singh, MO Ayush presided over the function.
Heramani advised the campers to regularly attend yoga classes and reap the benefit of the naturopathy treatment for future healthy life. In his presidential speech Bsanta Singh, MO explained elaborately the use of water in proper way for treatment of many chronic diseases and explained the laws of nature for a healthy living..
In the technical session, theory of disease and its cure through Yoga and naturopathy like hydrotherapy, massages and diet therapy were explained by the various resource persons including K Devota Devi, yoga expert and treatment in-charge of Nature Cure & Yoga Hospital, Kongba, Dr. Basanta Singh and N Saolin Singh of Yoga Hospital.
41 patients showed registered at the programme where received free treatment and Ayush medicines.
