Two IPS officers nominated for strategic security courses

IMPHAL, July 17:  Two state police officers have been nominated by the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR & D) New Delhi to participate in separate proposed courses on strategic security issues relating to the country which is likely to be held at the national capital and abroad.

According to an official source the director general of the Bureau of Police Research and Development (BPR & D) New Delhi has nominated Kh Chandramani Singh, IPS, DIG of Police ( Range-II), Manipur cum commandant in charge of 7th MR in charge, Khabeisoi to attend a course from July 26 to 30 at the Institute for Defense Studies and Analysis, No.1 Development enclave, Rao Tularam Marg, New Delhi Cantt.

Further, Nishit Kumar Ujjwal, IPS, SP Senapati has been nominated to attend a similar course at the SVP National Police Academy, Hyderabad and another in Australia.

In view of the propose deputations of the two IPS officials, the state police department has issued an official notification on the approval of ex-state jouney and during the absence of the said two IPS officers G Bimalchandra Sharma, IPS, DIG police range –III, Manipur and Kamjapau, Ngaite, MPS, Addl SP of  Kangpokpi will look after the works of DIGP (Range-II),  Manipur cum in charge of 7th MR and SP/Senapati district respectively in addition to their normal duties, the official notification added.
