Social worker Wilubou Newmai with the personnel of 10 Dogra Regt. clearing landslide portion on I.T. road in Tamenglong district.IMPHAL, July 24: The Zelianrong Union, Tamei Zone has lauded the 10th Dogra Regiment under the command of Jeetendra Sharma for providing material assistances to the villagers as well as clearing the portion of IT Road where landslide occurs frequently.
A release of the union stated that the remote villages of Tamei and Sadar Hills have been reeling under the apathy of the state government. The beneficiary schemes of the villagers have also been deprived by the government officials, it alleged.
Further, the Union appealed to the authorities concerned to look into the development aspects of Tamei region.
