IMPHAL, Aug 22: A team of medical officers and paramedical staff of 36 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) organised a medical camp at village Old Samtal in Chandel District on 22 Aug 2011. More than 200 patients from Old Samtal and the neighboring villages were treated and provided medicines.The medical check up of School children of the area was also conducted. The locals were assured of full support for various social welfare measures in the future to improve their living condition and they in turn conveyed their whole hearted support and gratitude to the security forces.
