IMPHAL, August 22: The Images of Manipur and Adventure Forum of Manipur will jointly organize an international photography tour cum trek at the base camp of Mount Everest, Nepal-Himalayan on September 1.
Jinendra Maibam, photojournalist of Reuters, Imphal Free Press and e-pao.net, Thingnamcha, Kakching Khunou Ngaikhong Lekai, a trainee at Images of Manipur a veteran climber Chaoba, Abujam Surendro Meitei Leikai`“a trainee of Images of Manipur and active participants in various trekking programme organized by MMTA and other organizations and Phanjoubam Harnet, photojournalist Irebak (sports), Telegraph (Sports), will take part in the expedition.
The expedition tour is co-sponsored by YAS, E-Pao.net, Classic Hotel, Sanaton Ningthouja of Kombirei Leikol, 10 Assam Rifles Noney.
As the expedition incurred a huge amount of money the Images of Manipur appeal the public/organistions to extend their support.
It further informed that besides photo exhibition, documentary film will be screened on the return of the expedition tour.
