IMPHAL, Aug 26: The joint leaders’ meet held at Manipur Dramatic Union Hall has resolved to form District Reorganization Committee Manipur which will be headed by a Revenue Minister to garner administrative conveniences.
The committee members will include representatives from civil organizations and intellectuals of the state.
The meet also resolved to implement MLR Act, 1960 in the state with the objective to bring equal development without any disparity between the hills and the valley.
The meeting also unanimously resolved that the UCM should take the lead in pressing the order to submit the resolutions to the authorities concerned
