IMPHAL, Aug 12: The chairman of proscribed KCP Military Affairs Committee has greeted the people of the state on the occasion of 7th raising day of Miyamgi Fingang Lanmi (MFL) on August 14.
A statement issued by chairman Laba Meitei stated that the KCP has been waging war against the Indian government to regain the lost Independence of Manipur which was forcibly annexed by the Indian government on October 15, 1949. The MFL would always work for the cause of the oppressed and downtrodden people of the region, it stated.
Further, the statement mentioned that the formation of coordination committee comprising of KCP, KYKL,
PREPAK(Pro), PREPAK, RPF, UNLF & UPPK is a landmark development in the revolutionary movement in the region. The MFL would always upkeep the people`s trust and strive to achieve the goal for independence, it asserted.
