IMPHAL, Aug 20: Enthusiastic students of the Assam Rifles School, Kakching organized a cultural programme based on the theme of “National Integration” today .
The programme showcased all the myriad and beautiful colours of Manipur through traditional dances, songs and an ethnic fashion show.
The highlight of the event was rendering of the ‘Raas Lila’ dance by the students of class VI & VII. The efforts of the children to showcase the vibrant Manipuri culture were highly appreciated. The programme culminated with a colorful fancy dress competition wherein the students enthusiastically participated and displayed their patriotic affinity.
Commandant 27 Assam Rifles interacted with the students on the occasion and wished them “Good Luck and Good Speed” in all their endeavours.
The parents and guardians were proud of the efforts of their wards and hoped that the school will provide many more such opportunities to the students to show case their talents the release added
