IMPHAL, August 10: The proscribed PREPAK in a statement issued by Sanju Oinam, department of publicity and propaganda, has refuted that the reports of surrender of one sergeant Tongbram Ibomcha alias Samchand alias Rajesh, 28 and private Md. Abdul Khan, before the DGP and IGAR (S), yesterday, as baseless and unfounded. It said that the two surrendered individuals is no way related with outfit and no way related with its red army. It appeal the public to be aware of the drama that have been staging by the IOF time to time.
Meanwhile, the proscribed UNLF, in a press statement, has stated that Ningthoujam Sangakpa alias Joychand of Pangaltabi, Yengkhom Lamthaba alias Sanatomba of Waiton and Hemam Lambicha alias Johnson of Moirang Khunou who had surrendered before the DGP are cadres of the outfit but the arms and ammunitions surrendered before the security forces do not belong to the outfit.
