`Resolve Sadar Hills crisis or Quit power`

IMPHAL, August 23: The All Manipur Students Guardian Organization (AMSGO) has urged the present government to give up power if they remained incompetent in solving the present impasse prevailing due to the demand of separate sadar hills district.

Speaking to media persons in this regards during a press meet held today at the association office the president of AMSGO, N. Chaoba Singh, made presumptions that the current blockade sponsors are apparently reckless bound by their own interest.

He said that the prevailing agitations of the Sadar hills districthood demand committee (SHDDC) and followed by counter blockade of UNC against bifurcation of Naga Land has taking its toll on the general public however both parties remained adamant not withstanding the rights of the people.

The AMSGO president urged the government to form a cabinet sub-committee and re-organize the demarcation process of Sadar hills and Jiribam map in order to avoid any possible communal flare up.

N. Tomba, appeals the blockade sponsors to relax their agitations considering the hardship face by the general public especially the students community. He lamented that bandh, blockade, strike have given enough disturbances to the students and asserted that there will be times when the academic calendars will be prepared keeping into view bandh and blockades etc.

He further asserted that the organization is willing to help in their best level provided if the blockade or bandh etc, is relaxed from the highways.
