Sangakpham blast condemnation continues

IMPHAL, August 11: Condemnation and resentment continue to pour in against the Sangakpham incident that claimed four innocent civilians and rendered several others injured.

The All Manipur Women’s Voluntary Association in association with Young Women’s Organization protested and condemned the Sangakpham blast with a sit-in-protest held at Sega road in Keishampat, today. 

Today’s gathering strongly condemned and detested the terror act at Sangakpham bazaar and demanded all organizations concerned to abstained from such act of terrorizing civilians in the future.

Ch (o) Usharani, president of AMWVA told media persons during the protest that the use of violent ways to achieve political demands is very unfortunate and should be strongly condemned by one and all. Setting of bombs at crowded civilian zones should be avoided immediately.

The protest which started at 11:30 am continued till 3:00 pm in the afternoon.
