IMPHAL, Sept 4: The recently concluded sitting of state advisory board on NSA under the chairmanship of retired Jucice RK Manisana Singh has approved detention of 16 under trial prisoners belonging to different underground groups under National Security Act (NSA).

According to an official source, the constituted state Advisory Board on NSA has conducted its sitting on August 20, August 21 and on August 27 at the board office at Central Sajiwa Jail and examined the reports on the recommendations made by the state Home department for detention of the said Under trails under NSA, and the board finally approved for the detention of the said 16 under trials belonging to different under ground groups under NSA, the source added.
