IMPHAL, Sept 15: The proposed 24-hour bandh of All Tribal Students’ Union Manipur (ATSUM) has been called off following assurance from the state government.
A release of ATSUM stated that the government has assured to include the examination centres of hill areas in the teacher eligibility test from next year onwards and conduct the recruitment of teachers on district cadre norms.
