CDSU sets deadline; warns of agitation against failure to fulfill demands

LAMKA Sept 23: Taking a serious view on the state governments` failure so far in taking proactive steps to materialized its demands, the Churachandpur District Students` Union , CDSU and Joint Philanthropic Organisation , JPO, are planning to stage mass agitation/general strike from midnight of September 26 incase their demands are not met by then.

Enough is enough and the people suffering has run out of tolerance and by then if there are no positive development in connection with their demands, they will be constrained to take up the extreme steps said a CDSU press statement a copy of which has been accesses by the IFP.

The union has been demanding MO (specialist), proper power supply, sufficient manpower to man the district hospital alongwith a full-fledged casualty.

According to a source, the CDSU had earlier convened an intellectual level meeting over the issues in which it was decided by the participants to put the state government under pressure so as to ensure that most of the basic needs of man under the SPF government are being catered to the people.

Yet another source has said that due to the absence of a full fledged casualty many patients used to be left in tizzy particularly in the morning between 8 am to 10 am and from 2 pm to 5/6 pm.
